Joey started filmmaking when he was a child. Like many of his peers in the industry, Joey would create home videos to entertain himself for hours on end. When he reached high school, he embarked on his first passion project creating a full length documentary of his senior year,

After college Joey enlisted in the Washington Army National Guard where he was deployed overseas. There he was tasked with creating content for his unit, showcasing training with other NATO forces as well as public affairs activity that would later be featured in various military pages. 

When returning home, Joey decided to embark on his film journey and started filming content professionally as JoeyB Films. With a passion for weddings - having attended many throughout his life- and a genuine love for love, Joey turned his focus toward the wedding industry, creating emotion driven, story telling films that allow couples to relive their special day over and over again
